FAQs

  • What are your rates?

Each artist rates pieces differently, so please reach out with details regarding what you are looking to get and which artist you would like to work with for a price estimate.

    What is your deposit requirement?

Just like rates, each artist requires a different deposit amount. Please reach out for more information regarding our artists deposits.

    Why is a deposit required?

While you may be investing in a tattoo, we are investing in you. Our artists spend time making sure that we are able to articulate what you want in your tattoo, which does not come within the time frame of your appointment day. The deposit is to ensure that you make it to your appointment and the work that we have put in is not wasted.

How do I book an appointment?

To book an appointment, please by fill out our client form. Once you’ve completed the form, we will reach out to you to book your appointment.

    What is your cancellation policy?

Each artist has a different cancellation policy, but as a rule please allow 48 hours notice in order to refund any deposits. If you do not cancel or reschedule within the allotted time frame your deposit will be forfeited.

We put time and effort into preparing for each tattoo, so please respect our artists and their time.

    What is your rescheduling policy?

You are allotted 3 times to reschedule before your deposit is forfeited.

What happens if I’m late for my appointment?

Please do not be late. Not showing up at your allotted time will throw off the schedule for the rest of the day. Be considerate of not only the artists time, but others who have appointments. We understand that in NYC trains and traffic can cause delays, but please take this into consideration on the day of your appointment.

What happens if I don’t show up for an appointment?

If you do not show up for your appointment your deposit will be forfeited and the priority of rescheduling your appointment will be very much demoted. Please understand, it is not our responsibility to make up for your irresponsibility.

    Do you do walk-ins?

We absolutely accept walk-ins! Please keep in mind that walk-in appointments are first come first serve, and depend on the availability of the artists.

  • Most of all the previous information is the same; however, notable differences include:

    - Piercings walk-ins are typically easier to accommodate.

  • Will it hurt?

In short. Yes. Tattooing is an experience where you have to give a little effort to come out with something beautiful and permanent. The best way we can describe it is a cat scratching your sunburn. While it is not an unmanageable pain, you should expect something that is more of an intermittent irritation rather than a constant hurt.

Piercings have a tendency to hurt more than tattoos, but it is for a shorter period of time.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

First and foremost, make sure you are well-rested, well-hydrated, and well-fed. Make sure you are clean (take a shower), and are mentally prepared.

    What should I wear?

Comfort beats fashion, and Sunday slumday beats your Sunday best. What we mean by this is that you will probably be sitting for at least an hour. It is important that while you are going to be mildly uncomfortable during your procedure, you are not worried about your clothing. While we are tattooing or piercing we will be dealing with ink, blood, plasma, etc. so it’s best not to risk your nice clothes while getting tattooed.

You may also considering wearing something that will allow you to cover certain places that might show, depending on where you're getting your tattoo.

Can I get tattooed/pierced if I am under the age of 18?

No, we do not tattoo or pierce ANYONE under the age of 18. ID must be presented upon the date of your appointment.

What are some things to consider before coming in?

    - Take a shower.

    - Please do not bring your kids.

    - Bring all of the necessary documentation.

    - Eat before you come in!

    - Your idea may not be able to be tattooed.

    - Just because you saw it on Pinterest doesn’t make it a good tattoo…plus that means someone else already has it!

When should I not get tattooed?

If any of the following are applicable, please realize that service can and will be refused.

    - Drunk

    - High

    - Pregnant

    - Pre-Surgery

    - Post-Surgery

    - When you don’t know what you want

    - When you can’t afford it

    - When you’re sunburned

    - When you haven’t showered

    - When you have your kids with you

    - If you don’t have an ID

    - Being pressured into it
